Varied Rep Ranges in workout

About to start a new training programme.

Question is would I be better sticking to a single rep range say 6 reps or 8 reps etc for every exercise or could you combine different rep ranges for different exercises for example low reps i.e. 3 for deadlift and higher reps i.e 12 for dips or presses etc.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Nothing wrong with having a mix. Find what works for you. I have 4x6, 3x8, 2x10 and 1x20 in my routine, in the future I'll probably add 5x5 to that list for some exercises.
