Venice Physique Studios, Glasgow

Anyone got any info on Venice Physique Studios in Glasgow, like what kinda gym is it, membership costs, any student discount and if its a worthwhile gym for a near beginner bodybuilder?  Any info would be great and much appreciated.
Cheers, J

Where abouts in Glasgow are you located?

It's a pretty good gym, people in there seemed friendly and helpful. Plenty of free weights. Last time i was there it was £28 a month iirc, not sure if there was a student discount.

What uni? I know strath is a good gym,and I ve heard Glasgow uni is pretty good as well. Heard Caley isn't the best.

Well merchant city is only about 10 mins walk so it'll prob be perfect for you.

Am at Strath (architectural engineering yr 2 (basically civil) but not checked the gym out but - just assuming its another fitness centre like gym with no much in the way of weights equipment.  Was looking for something a little more orientated towards bodybuilding than general fitness.

Lol not at all mate. The upstairs part houses most of the bicep boys, the downstairs is well equipped, with a power rack and a cage. DB's up to 50kgs (might be more...?).

Bigscottishbastard on here trains there and he's an absolute beast and I know he rates it highly.

From a bodybuilding perspective it may be a little low on machines like hammer strength ones, but I'm almost certain you'd find it more than adequate

Plus for £70 a year you won't get better value.

    Get to strathy gym mate!
I've been to Venice once and the uni gym has everything you need and more. If you have a look at some of my threads you'll see videos of the gym.
