Vid of my gym.... and some improved rowing

As promised some better and lighter rowing..... I had noticed the slight twist, and while not overly concerned I did ensure I was flatter for the following sets. Bloody light weight tho, didn't even need chalk LOL (60 on an 8kg bar) - clearly was better as my chin ups afterwards were more difficult

and the rest of my gym for you (spot the little dude at the end)

tbh mate, i have always fount it easier to do one arm for example right handed, left knee left hand both on bench keep back as straight as possibe without twisting abd just use the arm alone to pull the weight, by twisting the back when rowing you are only really benefiting half of the excercise if any at all as its not really hitting the muscle intended,

    just my opinion big lad

I used my phone and I was on a bike doing some cardio

Don't let looks deceive, the gym is sh!te...... and I cannot express that enough. The equipment has NEVER been serviced, the DBs go up to 70, but half of them are broken. The benches are loose and wobble like hell. There are only 2 oly bars left. Mirrors and windows are broken.

UMUK........ words heeded, however, I can't use the same bench, my wrists won't take the pressure so I need to grip a bar to keep my wrists straight, the bar is set level with the bench tho.

Did some one arm chins today too - managed 5 on my left

Hmm maybe i'll think of moving somewhere else then only 2 bars left!!!

I was training at amax while i was at uni but mostly at different times to yourself, you did spot for me on a squat on a couple of occasions but this was well over a year ago. Doubt you'd be able to picture me if i described myself. I'm not a huge guy, bout 6'2 tall dark hair quite broad shouldered, 23. That could be anyone really! I'll come say hello if i do move back up to cambridge.

The dumbells were never getting fixed when i was training there thought they might have sorted them by now!

    Ain't he gorgeous.

PaulSF: it's reached the point that members have done a collection to buy 2 new bars. Originally the managment said OK, if we did that they'd buy some new DBs....... altho, as I expected, they went back on their word - not for the first time. Should still get some new bars later this month hopefully. I'm generally in at 9am tho, so it's pretty much just me anyway. We have full Dbs up to 30, 32s are half broken, as are 35s, no 37s IIRC, 40s ok, no 42, broken 45, 47s ok, no 50s, 55s loose and so on. Do say Hi mate, drop us a mail or something if you are by

Managment always did seem a bit on the poor side when it came to maintenance. I hope to be moving sometime towards the end of august beginning of spet. I've had a terrible year training wise and have lost a lot so it'll be good to get myself settled and back training properly again.

    Form looks better mate.
With all due respect still needs a little more work.
I don't think the weight is challenging you, it's more that the movment has got habitual and you have to make your body do it in a differant way that just now feels odd.

Twist is still there but obviously reduced.
Your top position is still a few degree's too low.
    Here's some pics...

This from EXRX is about right mate...

I think you will benifit from being a bit stricter on these... I still think you should hit the big DB as you was initially for your 1st set but then go strick for the next 2 sets.

Purely my opinion mate, I don't want to be teaching grandma how to suck eggs with the exrx pic I know you know what your doing and all that.
