Viewing sent PMs

Hi all, I'm wondering if it is possible for MT members to save and/or view sent PMs? When I send a PM, which admittedly is rare, the number of PMs in my "sent" folder remains "0". I'd like to be able to save sent PMs to the folder to confirm PMs I've sent have in fact been sent. Anybody know how to set this up?

You should be able to see sent PMs. I certainly can, having never changed any options or set anything.

If in doubt, you could always save the webpage, or print to PDF.

Are you sure it just doesn't show 0 unread sent message, and if you look in the folder there are loads?

There is an option in the preferences section of the control panel that must be selected.

Changing web browsers didn't work. It was always a long shot!

That's done the trick. I looked in the preferences a few days ago and couldn't find a relevant option. Anyway, I just found the option to save PMs now in preferences. I'll PM you now to check it's worked! Many thanks, mate.

For public info: There's a tick-box option in control panel - preferences - "automatically save sent PMs". Excellent info from John above. Cheers, mate.

Guessing maybe they have changed it to reduce storage.

Nope, it has never been set since the introduction of PMs.

You can also check the "Save a copy to my sent folder" box on individual PMs as you send them.
