WABBA/IBFA N.IRELAND

Attended the formerly known as WABBA, now ibfa show in l,derry yesterday. I have to say i was so dissapointed. This was a show with a great reputation and prided itself in rewarding its competitors. My buddy who was competing was a little shocked when he received his what i can only say was a £5 plastic trophy, when last year and every year before was bronze men. It was always a show which competitors were proud to place their bronze statues on their mantle piece. My mate said his will go in the bedroom as he wouldnt embarass himself with it. Now, the place was packed and it was £20 per head for a ticket and £5 for pre judging and the organizer couldnt afford better trophies. Needless to say my mate aint competing with them anymore and is going to stick to nabba. And whats the deal with ibfa? WABBA are a much better org, much more professional with its own professional division. Ibfa is a fed that will take competitors no where to be honest.
Looked to me like the organizers were just herding them in, getting our money, throwing **** trophies at them then getting us out again so they can count their spoils for their new cars or hols. Sorry but im here for bodybuilding and to see it prosper, not to see their bank accounts prosper. Think ill stay in belfast from now on.

one less competitor = 4-5 less spectators = £100 loss of revenue.

a decent trophy costs what, £25 for 1st place, £15-20 for 2nd place, £10 for third?
