Wanna get into re-selling stuff on eBay - want ideas for product

Hi all,

I'm a self-employed IT contractor through a LTD co, basically for various reasons I'd like to get a second stream of income and expenditure, already have an account of 10 years standing, so thought that'd be the smartest way.

Basically I'm not looking to make huge amounts of money (from the eBay venture anyway), as it would detract too much from my core business, I just want a product I can dive into and make safe if unsexy margins on.  Not looking to spend too much time/effort doing it either - Ideally just box-shifting or selling straight from warehouse to customer, and make a thin margin.

Any of you entrepreneurs at MT got any ideas?  Or if you want PM me.

Cheers,

B2A

I did this through uni instead of a full student loan. Sold gym shirts from my apartment in Lancaster. They were in on a Tuesday, packaged overnight and posted Wednesday. I was selling enough to live comfortably (comfortable in the sense of a person with a full time job, never mind a student) and Paid my own driving lessons, test and then bought myself a car with one night's 'work' a week, aswell as food, nights out and other living expenses.

Only stopped because the wholesaler stopped selling the shirts (optimum nutrition shirts - sold them all over the world) and at the same time I was moving back home and didn't have the room to store stock.

Primark womens vest as 'mens' racerback gym vests

If you search ebay for mens racerback vests you'll see these all over the shop for £10-15 each, when really they are bought from primark for about £2-4

Noticed this a while back and seems to be rife on there,

I dont ebay because i cba, but reckon you'll make money with that

(ps if you do this karma says you should give me at least 10-20% of net profit for the first year )
