Water Pills

Been whinging to my mate about the water retention i get off creatine and he's given me some "water pills" basically a herbal dieuretic, anyone ever used these before, was it any good at helping reduce water retention?

Deadlift 270kg      
Bench   140kgx2 New PB as of Nov 16 woo!
Squat    210kg

    INGREDIENTS
    Active Ingredients:Per Tablet: Calcium 55 mg; Potassium (as Potassium Gluconate) 20 mg; Couch Grass (Rhizome) 20 mg; Chinese Asparagus (Shoot) 15 mg; Juniper Extract 2:1 (Fruit) 10 mg; Parsley (Aerial Parts) 10 mg; Uva-Ursi Extract 4:1 (Leaf) 5 mg; Alfalfa Juice Concentrate (Entire Plant) 2 mg; Short Buchu Extract 4:1 (Leaf) 500 mcg.
    Inactive Ingredients:Dicalcium Phosphate; Cellulose; Dextrose Monohydrate; Stearic Acid; Croscarmellose Sodium; Magnesium Stearate; Maltodextrin.

    Hmm not heard of any of them to be honest. Common diuretic ingredients are caffeine and dandelion root. Let us know how you get on with them mate.

    I used some of the herbal ones from asda, didnt feel they did jack sh*t tbh.

    Thanks for posting that link arnold, made an interesting read. I must admit the idea of dosing vit C at 15g's a day seems a bit daft lol.

    Yeah your probably right, im just not a big fan of 'herbal' remedies. Ive tried them for sleep problems, spot problem and non of them really work like the good ol drugs
