Weight loss

Hi. I've been going to cross fit a year now and have made some good progress. I do lots of cardio and my eating is good. I started cross fit to loose weight because I'm quite overweight but nothing is really shifting even though I'm getting stronger and fitter. I was wondering if taking anything such as anovar would help me lose weight?

Steroids will not help you here.

Using steroids for weight loss is bad advice and not sensible.

Focus on a sensible nutritional plan that has scope for weight loss with macronutrient tracking, teamed with a sensible training plan. Weight loss, and especially fat loss takes time.

Do you have any idea of how much fat or protein you eat? Any idea of calories?

How much do you weigh?

Hi yeah I eat around 2000 or just under calories a day and I weigh 15st. I do 1 hour off cross fit 4 times a week. I just don't seem to shift much weight at all.

Sorry, but as a fatty I know that if you were at <2k cals p.day and doing 4 hours hard cross fit you WOULD be losing weight!
What method are you using to track cals?
I like MFP

Try a different diet approach.  All approaches essentially try to accomplish the same goal in that they make it more convenient for you to stay in a deficit.  It's just different approaches work better for some around their life style and exercise regime.

Intermittent fasting works well for many.  It's difficult to over eat during your feeding periods.

Replacing all processed and starchy carbs with vegetables also works well.

Weekly re-feeds also help to stop your metabolism slowing down in response to the constant diet.  Personally, I choose my heaviest lifting days for a reefed, and include carbs here.

When you say "much", exactly how much and over what time span?

Intermittent fasting is not magic, but it can help if it fits your lifestyle. You still need to be aware of what goes into your body and how much, it just gives you a smaller time frame to consume it.

Fasting has been shown to have positive effects on various hormonal process (e.g. insulin sensitivity) but as above, the main benefit is smaller eating window = easier to manage total calories (harder to overeat).

The product is good! Whoever wants to not use it. Everyone has the right to choose. Right?

True, but the OP is looking for advice and we're here to give it.
The product is absolute nonsense, and any effect achieved from it is purely down to your diet alone. Advising someone to take it is simply bad advice or an attempt to market it (which I suspect is the truth).
