Weights and fitness
In about two weeks I'm going to start doing fitness training again as I need to be fit and fast before going back to uni, I don't want to be slow on the field!
However, I only want to drop a little bit of fat and want to retain as much of my muscle as I can. Currently at 18% BF and am quite happy just to get to 14% and stay around there. Currently I am only doing weights and no cardio and am getting some quite good and rapid gains. Probably the best gains I've got in a long time!
So I was thinking that a simple routine would be something like:
Monday: Full body weights session in the evening
Wednesday: Early morning light cardio session, empty stomach / Glut / etc
Thursday: Evening sprint intervals
Saturday: Afternoon / Evening. Sprint intervals
What do people think of this overall layout?
