Weights before or after cardio??

Hey guys

Im planning on doing fasted AM light intensity cardio and then my cardio/weights session in the evening. But what way is the best to go?

-Has fasted morning cardio been proven to tap into fat stores better than other times of the day?

-Should weights be done BEFORE your cardio? As I get very tired after my weights so would struggle to go all out for 2k on the rower for example but would cope with 30min x-trainer.

    Cutting and CV can be a killer when ever you do it,I find AM CV is the best and i also do it before i go to bed (CV when cutting) and take 2 scoop s of whey after CV.

    When you do your CV should be done when it feels best for you ,unless you are on a cut,or a post show diet and a plan is layed out and you must do your CV to the plan ie: AM

    Agree with Daz.

    Just to add - I personally wouldn't do cardio before or after a weights session because 1) I am usually spent after a heavy weights session and just feel like slumping on the sofa with my PWO shake. 2) I wouldn't want to expend any energy before a heavy weights session and would do C.V. another time ... Morning cardio after taking some whey/BCAA for me.

    I've tried both fasted and unfasted cardio in a morning and there's not been any difference other than I feel better having my brekkie first and have also been able to get a better heart rate going through feeling more energetic.

    Weights first, cardio second if you're doing them both in one session.

    Fueled/unfueled cardio is a debatable topic, maybe it works for some but not for others. Personally i do it fueled as i dont have energy to do cardio in the morning, there wouldnt be a big diff, but there could be a little, just about noticiable. You see my bro does cardio in the morning a few times a week and believes its best and hes getting good fat loss from it.

    No point doing cardio before weight, pop a caffeine pill pre wo or during your workout and 30mins cardio after weights isnt bad at all, you should have enough energy anyway if you sleep well, i dont.

    Im not convinced on fasted cardio either but while the jury is still out I do cardio first thing.  More than any other reason its done then for the day.  No matter how side tracked I get after that its out of the way and no one can take that from me.  Boosts my moral and my metabolism for the day

    Yeah morning cardio then a shower willf freshin you up and you will feel good all day. However i would recommend high intensity cardio in the morning, personally i would keep it around 60-70% rather than the 80's, in the fear muscle may be tapped into.
