What Aspect Of Your Life Define's You ?

I am a farther and a body builder / weight trainer but the aspect of my life that define's me is, I believe work. I am a grafter,I have a lot of pride in the fact that I have worked hard all my life. I started working on my parents farm at about 6 years old and I have done some sh*te jobs in years gone by to support my family. I now have a supervisory position which frankly does not float my boat, I would much rather be working than supervising. so what part of your life do you asign the most self asteem to ? I hope you all understand my question

No biggie like, there are a lot worse things for you than using steroids, I mean I probably shouldn't have been smoking crack or getting into bar fights at your age TBH  - drab4

    Good post.

I am defined by my job and I suppose that is how "society" generally defines people as, ie you meet someone and the introductions usually go name and what you do for a living and people then make assumptions from there.

As you say it will be interesting to see what other attributes people use as their defining character.

In some cases physical attributes can be defining factors, such as King Dong who was known for his dong but then again that was also his job so back to square one really.

The way i look i guess,

yes im sad to say that if people comment about me it usually has something to do with size, looking the part etc etc.

I actually feel quite disapointed in my life that this is my defining aspect

    My youthful looks/physical appearance

Seriously, I look very young for my age and this influences others around me to the point where it changes my personality to make me feel like a naive and young, but mature boy

It's very strange but all that has happened to me revolves around my body image in one way or another

I'd also say my kind, giving, nature which I adopt from my parents, and mild gentle manner

I'm single and have my own business. I love living life to the full, going out, having fun, enjoying myself, making money, travel, train hard, read funny posts on MT and dream about Huge Prince Charming coming along one day.

So I guess it must be having fun.

In all honesty, I am defined by social interaction.

This is the most important thing for me. I'm a people person I guess you could say. Maybe not a good one though!

What defines me is my relationships with other people.

My family define the person who I am.

I was someone totally differant before, if my family went, I think I would go as well and return to the way I used to be and then, an ASBO would probably define me!!! LOL

The one aspect that is constant in my life and defines my life is Agape love.

It sounds corny, yes, I know, but in all honesty, it is true...Agape love defines and is the motivation for who I am, what I do, and how I interact socially with others.

i would suggest for me my ability to guide those by empowering them with knowledge that they are struggling to find in the world of fitness and sport as most of them have aquired a media based perception that all sport is boring and a six pack is easy

i am noted for my selfishness, not in a negative manner, but being a driven individual who does not, nor searches for, unrequired social interaction.
i used to go a week or so without speaking to people, which i can still happily do as i can occupy my own mind by reading, writing and analysing publications, books and documents etc

i would also say the fact that i am unique and simply dont follow the norms. i dont subscribe to media based ideals, i do not do cool things and will often partake in activities which are deemed sad, and am happy to accept the social consequences.

i like ironing, my friends and associates laugh at this, do i care? ultimately, no

i like to live alone, like to speak my mind and lay down my ideals and if people wish to embrace these they are welcomed into my world, if they dont, i dont hold a grudge, i simply allow them to continue as they were without predujice without me being involved

i dont feel the urge to settle down with a lady friend, something people dont understand. i cant generally give them what they wish, often the attention they crave, and ultimately the security and exclusiveness that is required in a relationship, am i wrong for this? possibly so, possibly not but i am honest with them and they know where they stand

i am often labled metrosexual, most would be offended and bite back, i am again hapy to have a joke and a laugh and am pleased that i bring some interest into peoples life

ok interview over...back to the diet forum for me

Are we talking about the ironing wrinkles out of clothes and putting sharp creases in trousers and sleeves???
I like ironing. It is a great time to put my mind in neutral and just dream while listening to good tunes or catching up on national and world news.
Play says it's good exercise for the triceps (on t-shirt sayings thread)... well, I must be doing something wrong in my execution.

    Have you seen this site???

ok I digress from the thread, sorry..
    Back to the topic!!!
