What You All Doing This Weekend?

Sick of going out, waste of cash and too much trouble...

I'm doing nothing, cause then at least I'm doing nothing wrong. I'm gonna stay here on my own and turn off my telephone.

You guys?

Tommorow, day shift, then supermarket then bit of time fannying around in the garden. Settee and a DVD and couple of beers and take away at night.

Sunday, building some flower beds at the front of the house with railway sleepers etc. Then 6.00pm off to work 12hr night shift, long long day I will be shattered but gets things done and a full overtime shift to boot, so worth it.

Gym tonight then an early night.

Martial arts training session early tomorrow morning, followed by a long walk with my dog up Kielder forest followed by another early night.

Instructor training seminar (martial arts) on Sunday 11-5 (that's gonna be fun!?!) then out for a meal with my partner on Sunday night to celebrate, hopefully, getting my instructor's cert.

No doubt I'll fit some work in between the above.

I did assume you were an instructor already Osagi, or are you an instructor in other forms of M/A ?

Yeah these are two 'new' styles mate (two different flavors of eskrima / fma), I've trained in them both for some time and never considered going for instructor status (tbh it's a bit formality as I spend a lot of time teaching as it is) however I was recently asked to help expand the organisation and open a new club so to keep things formal I have to go for the certs.

I hold dan grades in other martial arts and have spent a lot of time teaching over the years, which helps.

Must be great to be able to teach and pass on such skills to people.

Yeah it's quite rewarding to see the student's skill levels and confidence start to grow. I guess it helps that I'm so passionate about the subject I'm teaching! But its a good laugh, hard work sometimes but worth the effort.

Tonight Im going to a 23rd birthday party for one of the Mrs' mates.

I want to get drunk tomorrow too, but get the feeling it will be a night in, with some films and a takeaway.

If I'm not out on a Saturday thats what I'd be doing ,Sunday will be my day for that this weekend.

Goes hand in hand after a night on the drink.

My wife is taking me out tonight as a birthday present.

Tomorrow morning i'm hitting the gym hard, then collecting my kids from my Mum.  Taking them out shopping for clothes of their choices.
Staying in Saturday night, staying up til midnight so I'm awake when I turn 30 on Sunday.

Sunday going round parents house, spend the day with the kids, hopefully in the sun and that's it!

Just in from the gym, plan is to eat then watch TV before bed around 10.  Tomorrow it's up relatively early, haircut, gym, shopping and then a whole afternoon of cooking as it's my girlfriends birthday on Sunday.  She's making loads of Sri Lankan curry (she's Danish actually...) and I'm making a batch of chocolate brownies.  We're having a load of people round tomorrow - great timing as it ties in quite nicely with my refeed meal!  Sunday we're heading to Perth to see her parents and I'll be nice and full for the gym on Monday.
