What causes DOMS in the wrong places

I decided to change my chest exercises yesterday and noticed something odd. I was originally doing the following exercises for my chest.

Chest/Tri

Flat Dumbell Press
Incline Dumbell Press
Incline Dumbel Flies

I decided to change to a Chest only routine shown below

Flat Barbell Presss
Incline Dumbell Press
Dips
Cable Flies

This morning i noticed that im getting DOMS on my deltoids(Specifically the front deltoid). Im not sure why this happened. I think the only exercise out of the above that might cause this is the incline dumbell press. I remember raising the bench to a suitable height so i cant have done shoulder presses.

Can anyone see why this happened? I dont mind if it was caused by the fact that i just introduced new exercises. I'll be more worried if the reason is wrong form(i.e. doing the exercise incorrectly).

Any ideas?

Your delts are hit hard with benching movements - so having changed things up a bit it's not unusual to get DOMS in different places.

although your delts act as a secondary muscle group in pressing excercises i would get someone knowlegeble to check your form as you may be shifting the weight more with your anterior(front) delts more than chest.

Is this likely to happen on the flat bench or on teh incline?

can happen on both mate, theres a fine line on incline between training your delts and pecs.
    when your benching:-
lay down and place feet flat on the floor
    arch your lower back slightly
    raise your ribcage up high
    squeeze your shoulderblades together
pull your shoulders downwards and push them into the bench and really "feel" the movement coming from your pecs
