What is Maximuscle whey like ? - important

hi.

I'm home at my mum's in Scotland for 10 days holidays but on cycle and I have a gym here so I'm working out as normal. I brought whey and casein with me but I seem to have misjudged what I need and am rapidly running out. Seems I only have H&B or Maximuscle to choose from. Which is better ?

maximuscle is ok, just a bit on the pricey side. haven't used it for ages, but as i recall it has  a decent amino acid profile, too.
h+b on the other hand is much cheaper, but rubbish ingrdients and quality.

calm down, its life, mate, its only a game

Maximuscle is expensive, but the quality is decent.

H&B protein is absolute crap, its better as a laxative than as a supplement.

If you have a Tesco nearby they stock Sci-Mx now, and most ASDAs have Met-Rx in the same aisle as vitamins etc.

Can't you place an online order before you run out?

In my experience the MyProtein deliveries take 2 - 3 days.  I can't comment on other online providers as I haven't ordered from anywhere else, but most highly rated palces should have quick delivery times.

Abit its off the farkin scale. I'd either go supermarket if you can or some of the board sponsers do next day delivery. You mite just be able to pop an order in for del. 2mo. In my experience myprotien are not as quick as they used to be.

taste and quality wise - Maximuscle

    It's a little pricey though.

No GNC up there?  Most H&B stock muscletech, which is often cheaper than maximuscle and decent quality

dont really have the time to have whey delivered, I need it tomorrow tbh. I'll check out Tescos and see if they have Sci-Mx, failing that I can survive the cost of one pot of Maximuscle. Thanks for the advice lads!
(Carlisle is only 40 mins drive but don't really have time for that - full program - here with my youngest daughter and she has demanding plans )
