What is good toe nail etiquette?

Er indoors is moaning about being assaulted by my toe nails in the middle of the night.

Apparently I slash at her ankles like Freddie Krueger with my "razorsharp toenails".

Now, they get trimmed once a week. They have a little length to them ie there is a little bit of white (as trimming them right back I usually fcuk up and cut the pinky painful bit).

They are not sharp, just 2mm long.

Is this acceptable or do they have to be pared back to the bone and virtually bleeding?

I am genuinely curious.

    No overhang mate.

    Its just wrong.

Nails must not exceed the length of the toe.

    That applies to women too.

i keep mine very short as they can get really sore when playing rugby if there long, plus i wear flip flops a lot so tend to keep them fairly well in check.

I believe it is considered wrong to bite them down to length.

    That is all

It's compulsory to cut one's toenails while one's partner is eating cornflakes.

A stray toenail pinged onto a spoonful of cereal makes for much hilarity.

    PMSL@JK :)

I used to trim them once per week or fortnight.
Now I'm finding I have to trim them twice per week, same with my fingernails.
I think this may be because I've been fairly consistent with the vitamins lately.

Or perhaps its the fact that I've recently recovered from extreme insomnia?
