Whats the point in food colouring???

Just found some decent deals on USN supplements from Amazon.

Been having a look at BCAA Power Punch and see they have colouring E124 added to it. Read a little and see it is banned in the US for possibly being carcinogenic. Really dont understand why they add this especially when it doesnt add anything to the product and plenty would be put off by this.

    It's called sensory perception mate.

Have you ever drunk orange juice that had no colour? If you did, you would not think it was orange juice as your brain has been trained to associate orange juice with the colour orange. You simply can't sell a flavour if the colour doesn't match otherwise people would complain the flavour does not match the description.

Agree, there is no need for colours that have health concerns though. Natural colours are much better.

Whether you think you will succeed or fail - you are right!

Its like Vanilla its always seen as white. No matter whether it is ice cream , milk shake whatever.

I think the small part of the flower is white leaves but really its a big green plant and as we all know these days the pods are Brown and the seeds that give the flavour are also brown.

I spose its just not as appealing being a brown shake. It wouldnt matter to me though

I remember years ago when Heinz released green ketchup and it was just weird... I remember trying it at a BBQ with some friends, and despite it tasting the same as always the colour just threw me off.

    Recently I've had....
    Tauro Test caps = Purple
    Warrior Blaze  = Red
    Creatine Freak = Blue
Tbh I'd rather the colouring just on the label and clear caps inside.
