What's your MT sport?

What's your sport that you mainly post on MT for?  Some of us will be competative BBers, some strongmen or powerlifters and some fighters.  However, I'm sure that we have a number from other sports too.

I can remember joining up and my reasons.  I was working security on a theme park and had been training for a year, 18 months or so, desperate to get 'bare hench'.  I remember logging onto the reception computer one evening shift when the park was shut and thinking to myself, "bodybuilders obviously know a thing or two about getting big, perhaps I should look it up" so I did.  I remember thinking that I know I didn't want to be a BBer and thought that I'd thought of an ingenious upper hand over other gym goers by applying BB principles!  Looking back it's comical the way I thought about it, but I just wish I'd thought about it sooner.

But back to the actual question, I was boxing at the time but my sole purpose for gym was to get bigger and look "better".

Since then I'm no longer boxing but took back to ice hockey which I guess is a large portion of my training direction.

    Unaffiliated.

Basketball.... but I don't train for it, I just like reliving my youth by playing it still

I started posting on mt because i was looking to do a cycle of 1mg test, deca, dol  and tren without even setting foot in the gym. I had it all planned out the test, deca and dbol was to get big and the tren was to strip away the fat, lol, but thank **** there was guys on here that advised me against this or i would be prob messed up by now.
Im glad that i found this site because **** knows where i'd be now concerning gear use. After 3 years on this site im actuly thinking of not ever touching gear again because i  dont think i have it in me to eat all that food that it takes to get big .
When i started out i really wanted to get big and toned but after learning how it's really done, i dontthink i have it in me. I have to take my hat off to guys on here that stick to it 100% and are able to get the physic that they require because ive found it the hardest thing ive had to do in my life, too much work, lol. Stick me on any building site anywhere and i'd work my balls off all day but this game takes some dedacation.

Current sport of choice is backcountry snowboarding, which means mountaineering. Previous sports are kung fu, basketball and motorsport (the bulk has mullered any hope of staying competitive in karting!).

    Rugby, as a participant.

Could be anything as a coaching perspective but again mainly rugby.

Is this linked to the thread about specific sport training thread by any chance James.

If so seems more interest in rugby as opposed to fighting and strongman. Early days for this thread though.

    Triathlons.

I needed to get faster which meant getting stronger. I turned to the gym and now I think my sport is more bodybuilding than triathlons. The tri's do keep me fit though!

Rugby Union, play competitively every week. Use the forum heavily for training advice to get more size, power and strength.

Basketball for me. Can't wait for summer and exams to be over and I'll be out on the court for 5 hours a day again. Nothing better than being in the sun and beating your body until you can barely walk away from the court.

Same as tony, like lifting to improve physique..

But for many years on and off, i have done wing chun  kung fu , but when life throws in complications which stop you practiicing you soon lose what you have learned, same with training, it has to be constant..

great thread! nice to hear what people do!

sillynarbie i thought you were a rower?  or is the rowing a side interest to the basketball?  i remember you talking about times on a concept etc, so presumed you were pretty serious about it?

Bodybuilding. I used to do kickboxing but bodybuilding became my passion and kickboxing got in the way of it. Nothing like a few duffed elbows to really mess up the weeks chest / shoulder sessions.
