When should I start going to the GYM ?

When should I start going to the GYM ?

I'm 22 years old & so skinny (weight = 62kg, height = 176cm)
should I start going to the gym now ?or should I wait till I gain some weight ?!if so , then what's the ideal weight for me in order to start going 2 the gym ?!

    welcome

    weight IMO means nothing

    so say 3 months time you are 75kg

    scenario 1 - you have eaten in a calorie surplus and gained weight but have not been physically active - you are not at a more acceptable weight according to 'medical guidlines'

    scenario 2 - you have eaten in a surplus but have gone to the gym and built some lean body mass, not all lean but mainly and some body fat. you are now more active, have more strength and are more effecient as using calories and not storing them

    IMO its a no brainer

    2 options

    one - eat healthy and try not to add much weight and dont train, ensuring all macro and micronutrients are catered for

    two - eat more, eat generally clean (as above), gain weight but actually go to the gym, lift 'heavy weights' with a structured plan and gain quality weight

    the bastard child of both is IMO not the place to be (no new muscl, more weight)

    There ain't no ideal startin weight m8, u go to the gym to improve ur body, weather u wanna get bigger, stronger, lose weight ect. If u wanna get bigger hav a execelent diet, execelnt routine that suits you, get ur rest and hav 110% dedecation towards ur goals. IMO, ani't sayin u haven't m8, if u ain't got the determation and dedecation then don't bother goin. Like scorch said once u get into it and start seeing the gains u'll love it and no it was a good choice to start.

    you want to start now simple as

    dont put off until tomorrow, what you can do it today
    if you like it you can do it again tomorrow

    if you dont like it you dont do it again simple

    bodyweight 70k lifts in comp snatch 132.5k cl+jk 160k
    78k lifts in training sn 145k cl+Jk 170
    front squat ATG 185k x1
