Where can I get some good Weight Gloves?

I have been diagnosed with psoriasis. It only appears to be on my hands and I think my current leather weight training gloves are resonsible...

Where can I get some full covering weight gloves? A ligther material probably rubber like in terms of grip? Do they have an option for wrap assistents on the wrists?

I don't think it's the material of your gloves that have caused your psoriasis. Mate I suffer from psoriasis on my elbows and knees and from what my doc says no one knows what causes it they just know its a genetic malfunction where your skin reproduces its cells too quickly to shed the old ones.

Have you been perscribed any meds?

Just stop using gloves altogether (they are crap, after all) and use chalk.

It could be due to taking ECA that caused the condition to be expressed...aparently beta blockers can set it off.. the gloves I wear really do seem to aggrevate it...

You suggest I take a small bag of chalk with me? Not sure if the gym would be happy with me putting chalk all over their equipment...

I was looking at these gloves

    and maybe some new straps

mate, I also have psorasis and have had it for ages.

I never had it on the elbows till about 1 year ago, and now its quite bad but seems to have pretty much left the rest of my body.

I had it on my calf for ages, and had a small bit on my knee.

I've noticed that at times of stress, it gets much worse, such as doing exams.
I've also noticed that when I'm not stressed, smoke very little and use a mosturiser like E45, it virtually dissapears.

From time to time, I've gotten it on my scalp. When that happens, I shave my scalp, and literally within 7 days it will be totally gone from my scalp.
    Its really wierd.

the wierdest thing of all is that when I did my course last September, it was quite bad, and by the time I'd finished the course at the end of November, start of December........it had totally dissapeared - my skin was never so good as when I was using gear/t3s and doing machine tanning
