I think everybody would answer a question with info taken from one of the above, it would depend on what the question was.

when posting in response to questions on the forum what is your advice based on?

    science only sometimes science
been there done it (so working examples you have done) very rarely
what you think based on what you like (satiety) i always consider this
what you have read on the forum and copy and pasted not copy and paste but yes
what you have read in magazines or articles articles yes, magazines no
what you have read from supplements literature never
what you heard from a big guy in the gym never
other- in general when i post i try to put a different slant on what other folk have already posted, sometimes i might disagree with some of their points too. So if someone asks for a cutting diet and they immediately get a response saying to cut out carbs wherever possible i'd probably try and stick up for carbs a bit etc etc

science I have links to hundreds of studies from journals. I particularly like the ones with pretty graphs!
been there done it (so working examples you have done) I used to when I first arrived here until the penny dropped that everyone was different and that I was the odd one out.
what you think based on what you like (satiety) Only when arguing with Veganlifter.
what you have read on the forum and copy and pasted Nope.
what you have read in magazines or articles Magazines, no. Articles from unis, Drs, endos, profs, lecturers, engineers, etc & other miscellaneous sites e.g Weston A. Price.
what you have read from supplements literature Nope.
what you heard from a big guy in the gym Nope.
other Databases e.g. Nutritiondata, GI, Fats etc.
    cheers

Oops too many commas in there, Been there and got the t-shirt is purely based satiety foods for me as well as slimming down. Not got to high lean mass yet which is coming up in the next few years which will prove good experience. Been giving advice on cutting diets from my experience based around food choices linked to satiety as i understand this is one of if not the biggest hurdle in cutting is hunger either in phychological terms or physiological terms. Only spectrum i dont think i will ever gain experience on first hand is gear
