Whey Isolate Powder and Olive Oil

I take a shaker with me to work containing Whey Isolate Powder. I was just wondering if i was to add some Extra Virgin Olive Oil, to the powder when i made the shake in the morning, would this affect it in anyway. Also noting they are likely to stay 'pre-mixed' for a number of hours.

Its not going to change the shake except from add fat to it. I reckon if you add EVOO to dry powder it might not mix very well when you add water.

You should probably not be using isolate, and just go with a cheaper protein source or eat whole food.

The purpose of isolate is it's refined further to remove more of the lactose and fats, hence speeding up absorption (and increasing the cost), so to get the full benefit you need to consume it with water (or a simple carb source).  Adding oil just reverses the process and slows down the absorption.

Sorry to hijack the thread but has anyone tried olive oil in shakes? I can only imagine it tasting slime and disgusting, great way to get calories in though.
