Whey

If you could choose just one, which is the best whey protein?

Isolate
Concentrate 75
Concentrate 80

Im thinking its isolate because it says so on this site "The highest yield of protein currently available, it's a derivative of milk protein. Its short chains and peptides make it available for absorption within ten minutes of ingestion sometimes"

LMK guys

Thanks

Isolate is usually over 90% protein I think. 10-15% more protein, but more than 10-15% more expensive. I use 80.

Isolate is good for PWO, but it's expensive. Your call if it's worth it.

    I'm happy with standard concentrate.

SO the moral of the story is,

pay more for isolate and get more protein and possibly better quality protein

    OR

pay less for concentrate and get less protein and possibly less quality protein

    thanks guys

    no the moral is

Whey concentrate 80 would be a good choice IMO.

I've never seen the appeal of isolate. Far more expensive than concentrate for just a little less carbs and fat.

Buy WPC80 - job done IMO

WPC80 only because isolate is too expensive and WPC75 has more fat and less protein. Post work you really want to avoid fats due to it slowing absorption.

But its all minor and just choose anyone you fancy!

i fail to see how 10% more protein, slightly less lactose, slightly improved digestion time can justify the extra cost over WPC80 or WPC75, i'd go for one of the concentrates
