Whey protein gives me puffy cheeks

Hey everyone. Since upping the amount of whey protein shake i take in per day ive noticed my cheeks are really chubby looking. im taking in 36g x 6 meals= 220g of protein per day which 3 or 4 of those meals that is make up of shakes. Any ideas if its the whey protein shakes that are doing this or am i taking high doses of something else which may cause this? I use Myprotein unflavoured protein.

Whats your diet look like for an average day mate? you've put how much protein your having but whats your carb in take like and are you cuting or bulking. sounds to me like your just gaining weight tbh and thats whats happend is your face has gained fat. just take a look at blue lagoon on here when he bulks he gets hamster cheeks lol (sorry blue) its got nothing to do with the protein shakes i dont think

    carbs are the likely culprit.

I noticed when i started upping protein intake, supping with creatine mono and not drinking enough water id notice a puffier look to my face, which was odd, as neck and most other places were lean etc.
I found, drinking 6-8 pints of water a day, and/or with concentrate like robinsons, spacing out my creatine/pwo shake helped immesnily.
I also run CLA and Green Tea extract which helps lean me out further, and a slight energy increase as im dropping as many carbs as i can atm, without losing all my energy and so on.
    Hope this info helps m8
