Which MyProtein Powder to choose.....

Hi guys and gals.

Which protein would be best out of these two:

Impact Blend    http://www.myprotein.co.uk/bulk-supplies/flavoured-protein/impact-blend/

or

Impact Whey    http://www.myprotein.co.uk/bulk-powders/protein-powders/impact-whey-protein/

The blend is 4.5kg for £39.99 (£0.22p per 25g scoop)

The Whey is 5kg for £47.99 (£0.24p per 25g scoop)

I know that there's not a massive difference in price, but which one would provide the best value for money?
Thanks in advance

    hi m8

I am a huge fan of tha MP Impact Whey 80%, ive never really seen the need to shell out on isolate/blends unless ya dont get on with the lactose in an 80%

the price isnt bad, but if ya are gonna go for the impact whey and price is an issue, you might want to take a look here, i was talking with mobster and they are currently doing soem mad prices on that 80%

    Dave,

Cheers for the reply mate.  That price is good and matches the Bulk Poweders price (unless you take your order to over £100 to facilitate free delivery).

However, I am looking for a flavoured product, but I forgot to put that in the title!  After stocking up on some pretty foul tasting crap the other week there, I doubt I will venture into the unflavoured market anytime soon. :)

Better gains? Quicker gains? Are you sure? Would you care to back up that statement please?

Go with the blend as it;'s cheaper, you won't notice the difference to be honest. But then as above, i'd just go with nutrisport 90+ for £39.99 5Kg (chocolate) as it's cheaper yet and tastes ok.

    hmmm
    i dunno
but i found it more affective then the blends u kno.

i think its more purer or something i cant remember, i used all the blends and then i thought you get what you pay for so lemme try isolate. And im more happier with using this despite price.

Hi m8 i think the guy is lookin 4 a flavoured protein product not unflavoured.

bulkpowders is unflavoured, but good, I always use them and they are very cheap but they are not the cheapest ATM, I think the cheapest ATM are the whey consortium with their 5kg and 10kg 80% which is wiv postage too

    http://www.wheyconsorti...uk/ViewProduct.aspx?id=2

LOL that better be right cuz I have just stocked up with 10 kg from them lol

    Martin,

I agree that MP's protein is great tasting.  I have a little of a tub of vanilla flavour left and it tastes/mixes great!

However, I recently sent an e-mail to MP with regard to pricematching both £65 pounds worth of singular supplements and the Nutrisport 90+ protein powder.  They couldn't match Nutrisport for price - Even though I am ordering £65 worth of supps PLUS from 3 - 5 (5kg) tubs of flavoured protein.

Their impact whey (80% protein) comes in at £47.99 for 5kg and the whey isolate (90% like Nutrisport) comes in at £70 for 5kg.

Unfortunately a no-brainer.  had they been able to price match I would have no hesitation i going for Mp's stuff as the service from my last ordrr was fantastic!

However I've just found this in the 'bulk' section:

    http://www.myprotein.co.uk/bulk-supplies/flavoured-protein/impact-blend/

10lb for £39.99.  Now 10lb = 4.55 Kg.  This would mean (for anyone that's interested!) that the Nutrisport would give 166.67 30g servings at a cost of £0.24 each.  The Mp would give 151.66 servings at a cost of £0.24 each.

    Not too much difference.

Ive used ukcheapsupplements. The order was sloooow, took just over a week to come.

Luckily I order well in advance so it didn't matter, but if you need something quick it might not be for you.
