Which easy/quick to eat foods have lots of protein???

during the day my main sources of protein are cereal (9g protein special k), protein bar (23g made by myself) and protein shakes (33g). I've started eating tins of tuna daily and cottage cheese (normally on weekends).

I bought some quaker oats but couldnt stomach them - almost gagged on the tast and texture, even with some sugar so they're out.

what other foods that are easy and quick to prepare (if any prep at all) would you recommend? I thinking of off the shelf stuff from the supermarket. I eat dinner with the mrs each night so it's not convenient for me to have chicken every night and for her to have something different.

so far i've got cottage cheese and tuna on my list.

cheers

Don't rely on proteins from special K bars mate!

tuna, chicken, cottage cheese, quark, turkey, oily fish, eggs, whey to name a few

Try and cook balanced meals up before hand and put in tubs ... much better than just eating tuna out of a tin, or example

yeah i've got a load of cottage cheese and tuna which i'll just stick in tubs to take to work. looks like my protein bars and shakes are gonna be my main source of protein. wish i could get more high protein foods from the shop - quick stuff to eat like the bars and shakes.
