Which mass builder people???

For price value and quality.

I would like it to be high in amino acids along with good pwo carbs as this is what it would be used for.

Someone gave me a few tubs of progain which was nice to use but far too expensive for me to now go and buy,i have been looking and i am thinking maybe Boditronics mass attack as it has the BCAAS and has a good mixture of carbs including dextrose malto and oats.

Any other suggestions?

If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

iv had: atlas superweight gain,sci-mx mass system and mammoth

price wise id say- atlas , mammoth , mass system

    quality-mass system, mammoth, atlas

so get what you pay for really

taste- got all 3 in chocolate, mass system was far to thick for me so put me off buying that again, but it depends what your into, iv got a mate that loves it, i like mine smooth, mammoth tastes very nice in choc and strawberry and atlas..tastes like death, mega death, with aids

value for money id say mass system, lasted wee bit longer than other 2 where as atlas is 6 scoops per shake and 3 shakes a day

well thats my opinion, as valuble as it is

    Reflex Instant Mass

    Whey protein
    Milk Protein
    Egg white Isolate
    Hydrolysed Whey Protein
    Peptide bonded glutamine
    Orgainc barley & Oats

Tastes great and has the best ingredient profile for a mass gainer IMO. Most are full of malto, which is a terrible choice of carb for everyday use - best post workout only.

MP weight gainer! good value 1 pack lasts just under a month (1 serving a day) oats and barley

A skinny guy with a six pack is as impressive as a fat chick with big t*ts

    2 scoops Nutrisport 90+ chocolate
    2 weetabix (supermarket brand)
About 250ml water (hot water is good)

Cheap, tastes nice and does the job.

Boditronics is a good choice! only issue is price.

If its for PWO then consider one of the nutrisport weight gainers/mass gainers

For around 30 quid or so depending where you buy you get 5 kg of protein + carbs (malto, ideal for pwo) and creatine+BCAA+ some other stuff like pea fibre etc maybe depending on which one you choose

Alternatively you could simply make you own and buy ingredients individually

I  was thinkin of the nutrisport, you can get 2 versions 1 being just under 30 and the other just over 30,my only concern with that is i didn't like the 90+ whey, personally thought it was disgusting.

If i order on tuesday i can get the boditronics for around £38 which isn't too bad, but  that is 4kg and i believe the nutrsport is 5kg.

Allan i was doing exactly that whey and weetabix, i already eat 16 odd weetabix a day.

After having the progain in my diet pwo and now im all out i feel i need a similar replacement, having that pwo just felt better i felt recovered quicker more energy, just felt better all round.

I never used to by into fast acting carbs pwo,i would be happy to just have weetabix or oats, but must admit i have felt better all around when using malto and dextrose pwo.

    Thanks for the replies.

id personally stick with Mass Attack or Instant Mass, top brands with top quality ingredients, oats, barley with blends of proteins etc

i would avoid weight gainers which mostly included Dextrose & Maltodextrin for sources of carbs, too much of these cheap sugars and you'll be increase body fat greatly.

do have alook at the bulk supplies too, you mite find a good gainer there to suit your needs

I would avoid weight gainers which have malto as their main carb source

Allinone's is a mix of malto and oats and is quite possibly the cheapest

minidorian, why is malto a terrible choice of carb for everyday use? Confused lol...i thought it was complex carb so therefore good-sustained release, not as likely to be stored as b.f as simple sugars (except when simple sugars are consumed pwo), and i thought lots of complex carbohydates helped alongside protein in building muscle mass and strength?

It's marketed as a complex-carb but it will spike insulin on a similar level to dextrose.  It is nowhere near sustained release - and for all intensive purposes i'd treat it the same as a simple sugar.  It's not such a bad thing PWO though....

ive had mammoth before and gained good size from it and little b.f, but then again i was a beginner and i had a good diet as a bonus it tasted great in chocolate flavour with milk, and it was cheap too, 4.4kg for £27 from [link=http://www.discount-supplements.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=4193]http://www.discount-sup...o.uk/shopexd.asp?id=4193[/link]
although if price isnt an issue, reflex instant mass looks great in terms of quality ingredients.

Think ill go with the boditronics mass attack,i have never had it before, the only boditronics product i have had is the midnight express and that is pretty good stuff.

Have had reflex instant mass in the past and was pretty happy with it,but i believe the only carb source is oats, where as the boditronics has a good blend of carbs such as oats malto etc.

So might just go with that

    What about CNP pro mass?

Which do you prefer clubber out of reflex and boditronics?

I have tried both reflex and CNP,both seemed good products although CNP didn't mix that great,i think it's a choice between the 3.

Pro-Mass is a good product, good value and tastes great, but you start the conversation again of whether you want cheap simple sugars, dextrose, maltodextrin, which Pro-Mass contains, or would you prefer something that could contain quality Low-GI carbs, oats, barley, even rice starch, aswell as a great blend of proteins.

    given the options availabe id probably go with this order;
    Mass Attack
    Instant Mass
    Pro-Mass

i very much doubt you'll be able to get hold of any now, but Dorian Yates Lean Gain was the no1 gainer on the market IMO
http://www.dorianyates.eu/product-view.asp?Product=GA11&action=summary   now thats a quality product

hopefully his new range will be on the shelves soon
