Which mult vits + mins you take?

Hey there been taking Centrum multi vits & mins once a day and my piss is coming out yellow most time since taking it. I was told its cos i have too much iron in my body and therefore the "yellow" is getting rid of the iron. I was reccommended to take a multi vit which contains less iron in but i carnt find one anywhere (in the UK)? Anyone know of one, where to buy like? Which you do lot take and any of you get the same thing?

    i dont use one
adeqaute dietry intake should be sufficient unless you have a specific medical condition that requires an increase in any given vit/min

If your urine is yellow, drink more water. Yellow urine is normally a sign that you are dehydrated.

He's talking about the toxic like flourescent yellow pee, not the dehydrated dark yellow pee. I asked about this on another thread a little while ago, I was told it was because of the B vitamins in the multi vit and if you look at the pack some of them are probably as much as 1700% of the RDA

its just the wasted vits/mins your body cannot use, most vitamin supps are massively overdosed is you ever look at the label

i use them but thats only because they are cheap and for peace of mind i suppose

I use a multi-vit daily. IMO its a harmless way to ensure all known vits and mins are covered. No substitute for fruit and veg of course.

Is it possible to name 6 or 7 fruit and veg that if taken daily ensure all the key vits and minerals are received or is it impossible? I personally get about 5 or 6 veg in my evening meal and eat at least 4 portions of fruit throughout the day, but I still tend to take a multi vit just to be on the safe side............but then again maybe it's not safe if my urine looks toxic!

I have been using the ABC H &B multi vitamin but have been told that they are no good as synthetic or something like that. Morrisons own brand are supposed to be the same too.

I’ve not had any problems with them but I will be looking to change them soon as I have nearly ran out. I also believe that taking one for piece of mind despite the diet can only be a good thing. So if anyone knows of any good multi's let me know so I can check them out.

Ditto .. really like it .. Feel a million dollars since taking and havin't had a sniffle , illness or anything .. I wish I could believe you could get all you need from food but having been brought up on a farm I am afraid I know that modern farming methods , supermarket prep , packaging and storage technics knacker most of the nutrients these days so unless you grow your own then a good multi is a good insurance policy IMO
