Which protein for bulking?

Hi all. Starting weight training again and just wanted some advice on which protein to go for to get the results I want. Im 21, weigh 12 1/2 stone, about 5'11" and quite stocky built (if that makes sense) lol! Looking to bulk up really. Gaining size in arms, chest, shoulders, back etc. I used to use BSN true mass but didnt notice mauch gains. I did see monster mass on the cheap UK supplements site but haven't bought it yet in case its not the best stuff to go for for what I want. Any help will be much appreciated, Lee.

A whey protein from any bulk supplier will be fine.....your diet is more important though, get it posted in the diet section and you,ll get some good advice there!

As someone has said already the most important thing by far is to sort out your diet. Figure out how much you need then get as much from food as possible and top up if required with supplements.
If you find you need a meal replacement product I'd recommend getting one which features good fats, low GI carbs and a good quality protein source - the protein aspect should be covered with all options, but the fats and carbs may not!

It doesn't matter. The brand of protein powder you use will not determine your gains. Just go for one that has a decent amount of protein per 100g, doesn't have much sugar in it and that you like the taste of.

    hi mate,
the monster mass you ask about is a very good mass gainer, very well designed, and i have had good results in this last off season using it, and its quite versitile.
BUT, it needs to fit your overall diet.  and the suggested serving size may not be the serving size you need.
if you post up your current diet, i can have a quick look at it for you, and if the monster mass fits into it nicely or not

As someone mentioned try and get as much as you can from meals.
I just met recently with a friend of mine who's been in prison, he ain't had no protein shakes, hell most of the food didn't have much protein from what he tells me, yet he's stacked it on mate. Training and 3 square meals, you'll be fine mate.
