Who has a Donor Card?

Who here is a registered Donor and carrys a NHS Donor Card with them?

Ive always thought about giving blood aswell as becoming a Donor to help others after my death. My organs are no good to me then so mite aswell share them, but, i dont think i can become one as ive used Steroids for bodybuilding reasons, thus making me an unacceptable donor? Going to write an email to the NHS to comfirm whether his is true or not.

    LOL!!!

I've thought about it, i think its a question for my family rather than for myself. I won't need them, others may... Share and share alike eh

However i'm not sure what family would think, burying "part of me"? Hmmm strange one.

They can have the lot for me. Don't see the point in denying someone else the use of something that is no good to me

i don't think you can donate blood if you are taking steroids, rec drugs. I also read somewhere that if u have a tattoo done, you have to wait a certain time to pass to be able to donate blood.

regarding body parts i havent got a clue

I registered on my driving licence, but I am not sure how that would work without them seeing a donor card. I am comfortable with them taking everything except my eyes or my johnson.

what is it about leaving your eyes??

Something to do with seeing in the after life, if you believe there is 1?

Do Greeks still place money on the eyes of the dead for the 'boat man' to take them across the river to the after life?

personally i believe in reincarnation as energy cant be destroyed but only converted, and therefore the body is just an emtpy shell after death. Each to there own.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but anyone who has used GH cannot donate organs.

I think it's because people can't imagine what it is like to have their organs taken out so they are somewhat indifferent, but the idea of having your eyes poked into with a knife is something people could imagine the pain of.
