Fasted steady state cardio (SSCV) is a bit controversial, mate. I personally agree that it is a useful method of buring fat.
The basic idea, as j55, and others, state above, is that if you do SSCV in the morning you burn more body/fat than you would on a full or part-full stomach. This is principally because of the low level of blood sugar.
