Will 10lb cut make big difference?

Right now I am bulking and I have gone from 162.4 to 180. However, when I started out at 162 I had a moderate body fat % but I chose to bulk b/c I couldn't afford to lose more weight. I've made great strength gains and I've gained muscle but I've also put on a little fat in addition to what I already had. I was wondering if I cut from 180 to 170 would it make that much a difference in my appearance or should I bulk a little longer? I"m 19 yrs. old and 6'1.

i'd say cut down 10 pounds in the summer(show of to the sexy ladies) then bulk up.

im currently cutting for summer as i fel this is the best time to do it. i have 6 weeks to do so and i aim to lose about 8 pounds(hopefully)

    lateral raises- 10kg-10

    It will make a difference.

But whats the point of doing it now when by the time you finish Summer will effectively be over or certainly nearing an end?

I say stick it and keep bulking. It's more of a long-term view but of more benefit in the end.

but if he bulks now he'll be bulking till next year april (thats a long time bulking) at least you'll be able to show of the muscle you have now then go back on bulking.

if your not bothered about the fat then kep bulking then cut next year

10lbs of FAT will make a big difference, but you loose mostly water in the first couple of weeks, so say in the first 3 weeks you might loose 10lbs, but like 4-6lbs will be fat rest water

and yea it does make a difference, but you wont go to being ripped

Bulking doesn't mean you have to continously get fatter and fatter. You can add muscle and relitavely stay at around the same bodyfat percentage.

As for losing 10lbs it can make a big difference though it depends on your current bodyfat levels. A big fat bastard will look exactly the same if he lost 10lbs whereas someone with a bodyfat percentage of 15% could look drastically different losing 10lb of fat.
