Woman gets unwanted catcalls

This was on SkyNews
http://news.sky.com/story/1362715/video-woman-is-catcalled-100-times-in-a-day
Guys, do you do it?
Women, do you like it?

Ok some guys are OTT but what's wrong with a polite compliment?
Some guys just wish her a pleasant evening and she's calling it harassment.
She's kinda chunky at 24. When she's my age and a few kids under her belt and a few inches hanging over it lol, this kind of "harassment" will be a thing of the past!

She's not worth whistling at imo, i see plenty of lasses every day who are better looking and better built.

I don't ever whistle at them though or wink etc.

Yea, this was called out as some BS on Reddit where it was posted.

The editing, times and bad areas she walked about in are typical, plus many men and different women say they experience nothing of the sort in better areas.

If you ever walk about NY, theirs these kinds of people that say hell and have a nice day to ANYONE that walks past them.

I get this from women all the time. They whistle and try to fondle me on the tube. It's getting old girls.

Saw this on twitter. Some of the guys following her were creepy though. As a man id love it if women were doing that to me but I imagine a woman may feel very vulnerable under the circumstances

The guy walking beside her for five minutes was out of order but other than that I didn't really see too much wrong tbh.

Yeah I was dumbfounded by that part.

Guys around here must be all brainwashed by the skinny fitness chick look with the flat bod and mosquito bite tits.

As for the video, I don't make a habit of paying much attention to feminist propaganda. People saying "hello" or "god bless" is hardly harassment and maybe she just walked through the wrong neighbourhoods (I seen a strange, huh, "tendency" in the men shown in the video).

Besides, let's not even pretend women don't love the attention of men. Maybe not to the point where it gets annoying, sure, but a woman doesn't put on a thong, tight jeans, push up bra, tight shirt with plenty of cleavage and 1h of make up "for herself". She does it so people will look at her and find her beautiful, simple as that. If a woman did all that and walked all across the city without anyone even batting an eye she'd probably get depressed because nobody thinks she's beautiful lol

On my previous gym there was a chick who wore quite a bit less than that to train. I mean if you stood two feet from her and looked down you could see her belly button from the top of her cleavage. I honestly don't know how her tits didn't pop out while training, I swear half the time you could see her areolas, and this was in very tight spandex.

On my current gym there's a chick who shows up every damn day with her bright dyed hair, full make up to accentuate her fake cheeks and push up bra to bring out her fake tits. She always wears tight leggings, trains nothing but legs, is always doing either glute kickbacks on the cable crossover or sumo squats at the smith. In between every set she "stretches". By that I mean she stretches her adductors by squatting down with her legs at 180º, and her hamstrings by resting her foot on the smith (full split style). You can see all the way to Florida. I have a pretty good idea of how her vagina looks like, and not because I'm always staring. I'm actually just minding my own business and trying to get my workout done and go home, but she's always doing it so it's hard not to notice.

And I'm supposed to believe they just do that with no interest at all in getting attention? Bitches please, that's like a guy training in one of those tank tops with the sides opened up all the way down to the waist so you can see his abs every time he turns around. It's obviously for show off.

I agree with the girl, it is annoying.  She's lucky to only get 100, I get way more than this.

I don't think you would love it, unless you were single and you found the woman who was harrassing you very attractive. Unwanted attention is never pleasant!

I've had plenty of it in the past in clubs etc (I know a different environment than on the street but still same principle) and some guys just do not have any concept of appropriate behaviour and even when you are clearly not receptive to their advances they can persist. I've had my crotch grabbed, been groped and been lunged at for a kiss, had my bum pinched - it's not nice when it's totally uninvited and unwanted. Being cornered and talked at when you're clearly not interested and uncomfortable it also quite unpleasant.

I think a lot of guys should know how it makes someone feel to have unwanted attention, you think it's a laugh and flattering but it's not to the person you're doing it to.

I hate this argument - it's the equivalent of saying a woman in a short skirt is asking to be raped. Someone should be free to dress and look however they want without someone using that to justify their own sh1tty behaviour.

I don't think it's the same thing.

Make up is troublesome to put on and uncomfortable to wear. I don't think most women actually enjoy wearing it. Most women I know don't put on any make up, and they wear loose shirts and baggy pants when around the house by themselves or with close family/friends. That's when they're actually dressing for comfort.

When they put on make up, wear high heels, tight clothes etc, it's so they'll look good, so they'll impress the other people who will look at them. It's not something they do because they "like". Nobody "likes" having dirt on their face. What they really like is the approval of the people who'll see them, the make up is just the means to that end. And it's only natural, I'm not criticizing here, it's no different when a man puts on a nice suit. Who "likes" wearing a shirt and tie anyway? Nobody! We wear them because of what other people will think, if everyone worked from home most guys would do it in their underwear.

Raping is different from looking. Of course a woman who dresses very sexy wants men to look at her and feel attracted. She probably doesn't want them to have forceful sexual relations with her. Even if she's out for sex (which she probably isn't, most time people just like to tease and feel appreciated - the sexyness is just for show), she probably wants to chose who, where and when she has it.

That's the fundamental difference of our opinion right there - you assume that a woman only wears make up and dresses 'sexy' to attract attention from men. That's the whole problem. What's wrong with someone wanting to make themselves look attractive for their own sake? If someone gets dressed up it doesn't automatically mean they are doing it to get attention, that's exactly the mind-set I don't agree with.
