Work out length

I know your really only suppose to work out for about an hour, but i dont feel like i get enough in. I usually work out for between an hour and an hour and a half doin two body parts a day. For example chest and bis. Is this to long? If so how should i cut it down, bu eliminating time in between sets or by cutting the number of sets. I generally do between 12-16 sets for a major muscle group like chest or back, while doing between 6-9 sets for smaller ones like bis. Any feedback would be appreicated

i think if you are going much over an hour you are doing to much. i think 8 sets is plenty for any bodypart and i only do 6-7 for large groups and about 5 for small. its how hard not how long

If you're spending an hour and a half doing chest and bi's you're doing way too much IMHO.

my chest and tri run about a hour to a hour and fifteen minutes but i rest 2-3 minutes between heavy presses so i would think a hour and a half would be to much

even with that set range it shouldn't take an hour and a half unless there is a lot of dead time between exercises/sets/etc. I have a similar set range and get mine done in less than an hour.
