World cup 2018

Spain, Germany or Brazil for the outright

I don't like the look of France

Joe Hart not going is good thing same with Jack wheelchair Wilshere. He comes across as lackadaisical to me

The group doesn't suit England though Panama and Tunisia will be all back in defence and England won't find a way in

England are around 18/1. Who on earth is backing that.

I'm less optimistic of our ( Germany ) chances this year but still think there's a chance.

I dislike football generally but I'm looking forward to it. France or Argentina are my favourites.

I reckon the whole tournament will be overshadowed by the violence. Feel sorry for any fan brave enough to make the journey.

Possibly but I'd be surprised if there were more than a few skirmishes here and there. Sporting reputation matters a lot to Putin and I doubt that he'd just stand by and allow an event such as the world cup be overshadowed by violence. I expect there to be a military level zero tolerance policy towards violence.

I expect England to spring a surprise and make it out of the group.

If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

Gareth Southgate might actually be ok. He's not afraid to drop Hart and Wilshere, looks a bright young England

Like betting on England under 18 and 17 and the women. Many a win with them.

France and Argentina don't look on the ball to me. I have free bets on the top 3

I notice you have edited out what you said. I won't repeat it because you want what you said gone.

I'm just curious why you felt you had to remove that part

It just wasn't relevant and I think it came across as bragging.

    Sky bet

England to score less that 3.5 goals in the group stage 4/1

That's coming in isn't it. England to score less 4 goals in the group stage. Looks a good bet to me

I'm not much of a football fan but I will be interested in seeing how this tournament pans out in terms of the policing and the political ramifications. An anonymous UK government minister is alleged to have told BBC newsnight that Russia will be focusing on making the world cup a success but it is then believed that they will launch a cyber attack on the City of London. Interesting times ahead.
