Would anyone like to sponsor me?

Hello all...

I am going to be running in the 10km Bupa Great Run in Manchester on May 18th 2008. More information on the Bupa Great Run can be found here http://www.greatrun.org/ and more specifically for the Manchester run here http://gmr.realbuzz.com/.

I will be running on behalf of the registered charity (299679) SANDS (Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Society) and hoping to raise as much money as I can for them. So far I have been using official paper sponsorship forms but have now opened this up so people can sponsor me easily by using http://www.justgiving.com/rhyskirk for some last minute sponsors.

Why am I doing this?
My aunty unfortunately had a still birth about 6 years ago and to this day she still turns to SANDS for advice and support; she has now just had a new baby boy (2 weeks ago) and I am running as a tribute on behalf of the charity that has helped her through her difficult times.

I will be running the whole way round without stopping dressed in SANDS running gear so look out for me on TV on the day - the 6'4 red cheeked geeky looking guy.

For more information on SANDS please visit: http://www.uk-sands.org/

MODS - feel free to delete if I am not allowed to post this..?
