Would this be deemed an unsucessful 11 or so months

End of last cutting cycle Aug 2005 i was approx 191lbs, pretty lean (for me) but still 3" around naval, poor delts (due to injuries) but ok legs, back ok etc

End of Bulk (end March 2006) i was 212lbs flabby 38" around naval, bit of chunk to me 16" arms, biggish legs

now i'm 196lbs approx still 36" araound naval, arms bacl down to 15", but back looking as big as at end of bulk, and legs maybe bigger stll. I'm busy cutting away as hard as possible and still, lifting heavy as poss, cardio (lots of currently)

I'm about 3 weeks away from this time last year when now i weigh just 5 lbs more than then, yet not as lean, and dont think 3 weeks if going to make a huge difference. ie i'm not going to be as lean as i was last year, yet after nearly a year i weigh the same.

I realise its hard to express without pictures (coming in 3 weeks time) but would this be deemed as ansucessful year.

I hoped now i wouldweigh more and be as lean now as i was last year at same sort of time

Any thoughts guys?

Have your strength levels improved at all mate??? I generally find that if a guy can, noticably, build his legs up over a course of a year then that is considered pretty good progress!

well actually always had big legs anyway but strength overall has increased yes. I have even decreased weight on squats to concentrate on form more.

You also need to weigh up the fact about how your shoulder has been giving you serious grief....it all has a knock on effect.

Givin the injury i think you have done well.

Just look at what you did well over the last year and what you have done badly and learn from it so you are better equipped for the years training ahead. You have made size increase and strength increases so I think you have done well.

Plus as mentioned you have had an injury to recover from.

Good luck for the future and keep on training.

daft thing is delts dont look as small as they did last year, now, despite the injuries. Its overall leanness and the fact that i'm roughly same weight as last year that bothers me the most. Havent got record of lifts from last year to hand just now(i'm at work) so cant rememer if everything has increased or not!

Cheesr for encouragement tho guys and i'm gonne try harder than ever to make the next 3 weeks of cutting count
