I see more women squatting and deadlifting than men. Don't see them doing much upper body work though

Good squat and pull on the vid but I can't support those silly short ROM bench presses. The federations need to wake up and introduce the simple rule of the upper arm breaking parallel on the bench like the thigh on the squat, powerlifting will never get mainstream recognition as a sport while they keep allowing those half presses.

I guess this is due to the big butt thing that's so trendy right now.  They are women in my gym squatting/pulling impressive amounts in terms of their bodyweight, but it's a bit daft when you then you see they can't do a single pull up.

The real fad at the moment seems to be those hip thrusts. Everybody's doing it apparently, women go crazy doing them like 100+kg when normally you never see them even going near the big plates.

On that note just last week there was a woman doing squats with some 130Kg there if I saw it right. She looked like she weighed nearly that much too though.
