Yellow Rice

Hey,

Couldnt find any other posts on this so here it goes...

My tastebuds really dont agree with brown rice and i was wondering if having that yellow coloured rice (like you have with a stir fry or curry) is any more healthier than plain white rice?

Thnx for any help

    try flavouring your rice?
if u really dont like it use white basmati still much better than normal white rice!

or find a different carbs source you do like that fit ur diet needs and taste buds!

    Sweet pots
    new pots
    wholemeal pasta
    wholemeal bread
    wheatbix
    oats
    quinoa
cous cous (seen wholemeal one lately)
    barley
    bergler whaet (spelling)
    buckwheat

    a few idea for ya!

to be honest i dont knoe the nutrional value of yellow rice i thought it was just white rice with added spice to turn it yellow!

    could be wrong.

Yellow or Pilau Rice as its sometimes known can simply be made by using brown basmati rice and adding some tumeric which is what gives the rice its yellow colour and taste
