Yodel take the ****!

Got an order sent to work as no one will be at home.
I'm a tube driver so a manager always signs for it and keeps it behind the desk at the depot.
For whatever reason this time I picked Yodel over DPD.
Today it says "Delivered" and signed for by BARRY (me).
No managers at the depot called BARRY and my boss (David) said no delivery came.
Asked Yodel to email me the delivery signature and they said they can't do that but will forward my issue to the depot.
Anyone else ever get this?

Yodel and Hermes are the most hated delivery companies in the UK. In fact I do believe they are the same company using two different names. That said, astoundingly, when I hear so many bad stories about them, I actually have had no bad experiences with them.

for very good reason. they're often half the price DPD are and their reputation shows why.

I got a GN order through this week with yodel. The most grumpiest d0uche ever turns up, he didn't say a word, I sign his machine he doesn't give me the box he "puts"it down in front of him(from about knee hight) turns and heads back to his truck. I say thanks have a nice day he didnt say a thing, or acknowledge my existence.

If my daughter wasn't alone inside the house I would have followed him up the road in my pants, demanding satisfactory customer service for my package lol

No problems with both at my current address, but i have had issues with them at an old address.

I do a lot of push ups and sit ups. And I drink plenty of milk.

I've had Yodel issues. Stayed in and waited for a delivery, which never came. Apparently they tried to deliver it but there was no answer, so left a card. Well, that card has never been found...

they employ the people who drive in clapped out vauxhall cavaliers... what do you expect?
Ive seen these cars rammed with parcels and all sorts of grunt climb out to apathetically check you are in.

I think they are all as bad as each other. One day I had a delivery from RM which was "signed" for then left on my step in the rain. Couldn't believe it in retrospect I should have just reported it stolen as was a pair of decent head phones.

Well try that with me currently now fighting UPS as they smashed my Surface Pro 3 delivery, and I have a feeling are trying to deny any issue with it.

Not been too impressed with Yodels service: An example of trying to provide courier service too cheaply IMO.
Bet they don`t treat their drivers very well (still theres no excuse for bad attitude)

I will always pay for superior service, it just saves me a lot of grieve.

Hope it gets sorted for you.

I had some terrible experiences with Yodel and will never use them again.

I was at work a few days ago and chatting to a driver from another well known company who was collecting some boxes from me. We got onto the topic of yodel and he said he strongly recommends that nobody uses them ever... Having once worked for them, he told me that the amount of deliveries that get stolen by drivers, or never delivered is massive. He said everything about them is terrible.

That confirmed my thoughts and experiences.

thing that fks me off is ebayers claiming "first class royal mail delivery" then using cnuts like yodel. last thng i bought was due THurs by "royal mail" - turned up on Sat by yodel. been several times they've dropped something off at a neighbour and i only found out when they came around, cost the cumsnorters never bothered putting a card through the door; i took one in for a neighbour and the guy said he'd put a card in to tell them - had he fk. the most telling was back in Feb - the fkheads turned up in a rental van FFS!

Had a bad experience with Sport Direct / Yodel. I ordered items from Sports Direct for a next day delivery (Friday), to my work at the time in Blackpool, using Yodel.

As I live in Bolton and don't work on a Saturday I was pretty miffed. To add to insult I needed the items for the Saturday too.

So I rang Sports Direct and asked what the issue was. They told me it was the delivery companies fault and that was about it. I complained and they offered me a fiver discount, piss take.

You can't go wrong with DPD never had an issue, given the choice I would choose them. I like they tracking service they provide.
