You guessed it, hows my routine?

Training on my tod. I try to go to failure where ever possible. Im building atm :)

This get mixed up a bit dependant on how Im feeling but at the mo I'm doing:


Back/Tris
Bent over rows 1 x 20, 3x 8
Deadlifts 3 x 5
One arm rows 3 x 8

Weighted bench dips or close grip BB Press

Legs
Squat 1 x 20 3 x 8
Leg Ext 3 x 8
Dead lifts 3 x 5
Calf raises 3 x 12 (slow)

Chest/Bis
BB Flat Bench press 1 x20 3 x 8
Inc DB Press 3 x 8
Flat Flyes 3 x 8

EZ Curls 3 x 8

Shoulders
Seated press 3 x 8
Front raise 3 x 8
Shrugs 3 x 8
Upright row 3 x 8

    ^^maybe swap one of these for a vertical one, chins or pull-downs?

    I'd be tempted to add more for triceps

    Legs
    Squat 1 x 20 3 x 8
    Leg Ext 3 x 8
    Dead lifts 3 x 5 I presume (hope) this is supposed to be stiff legged dead lifts?
    Calf raises 3 x 12 (slow)

    Chest/Bis
    BB Flat Bench press 1 x20 3 x 8
    Inc DB Press 3 x 8
    Flat Flyes 3 x 8

    EZ Curls 3 x 8

    Shoulders
    Seated press 3 x 8

    I work on a ship with low deckheads thus cant do chins and no lat Pull down machine, i suppose i could put the Smith Machine up and do pull ups from there?? We have a low row machine as well.....

    What else for Tris? :)

    The deadlifts are the normal type, since they seemed to be a mass builder.....or have I got that completly wrong?

    Yeah you could try it from the smith, if it's tall enough...


    Well you dont want to be deadlifting twice a week. Plus, there is no work for your hamstrings on leg day. Stiff legged deadlifts will work your hams, - so I would replace normal DLs with SLDLs.

    Tris, both of those exercises aint bad for tris at all, - consider adding in skullcrushers, - or (got any cables?) cable push downs with a curly stell bar attachment, but face away from the stack so the cable goes over your head (if you see what i mean), - i like these :)
