ZINC!

Hey

Just wanted to know if zinc supplementing would block DHT? Hair started thinning a while back and I read today that DHT is most often the cause and supressing it is the key to a "healthy" scalp. I'll be stocking up on spinach and other foods rich in zinc.

Thanks

cheers for the reponse. just googled that shampoo and there's no info about it blocking dht or assisting in curing hair thinning. im already applying this special oil my mum got me. only been on it for 2 days so will have to wait a while for any regrowth indication.

other than that im supplementing on sea kelp. read loads about it being great for hair. just need an effective dht blocker now. shouldn't really need anything like procerin i've just been reading about. apparently zinc, coupled with biotin and another ingredient should do the trick. ALL-IN1 have the ALL25 vitamin and mineral tub which contains everything i need so will give that a go.

    thanks again

im sure i read that a lack of iron can increase the rate of hair loss. Try supplementing with that maybe?

Nice one clubber. ALL-IN1 supps have got iron, zinc, biotin and everything else required that I've read about, all crammed into their ALL25 vitamin and mineral tub so I think i'll just order that. not bad for 10 quid including P&P.
