abdominal training

hi guys i wondered if you had any pointers on the best exercises to do to bvuild strong ab muscles any help would be most appreciated

    They act as stabilisers while doing the exercises. Same with standing military press

    cool thank you, i saw an abdominal training book earlier that i nearly brought done by mens health or muscle and fitness it had lots of exercises in it but i didn't know if loads of different ab exercises where essential

    theres a good bookwhich i have been using and have had good results with its called three minute abs

    No, not necessary IMO. I don't do any direct ab work, but my core is strong through doing the heavy compound movements

    If you want the abs to show, then that's more to do with attaining a low bodyfat % with diet and cardio
