advice on strength routine please.

hello, i usually post in the juice forum as i use steroids but have noticed there arent many strength athletes who post there mainly bodybuilders and fitness guys. i would appreciate a good solid compound routine that i can split into 3 1 hour long sessions over a week. i only want advice on the weight training part of my training at present. goal of training will be primarily to improve strength. i have been using a modified hit routine 3 sets of 6 reps upper body. 2 sets 10 reps lower. last set done to failure and increase weight next session when i can complete 3 sets of 6. i would like a change round concentrating only on compound movements not body builder lifts, the sort of weight traing a strong man might include in his training programme. hope you can help. btw iam 30 years old just started a new cycle, deca, test, d-bol and i am just over 20 stone, i have been weight training for 8 years but back to it seriously for last 1 year.

I'd base a three day split around squatting on a Monday, Benching on the Wednesday and finally deads on the Friday. All based around the 5x5 system.

Supplement the big three with antagonistic compound exercises, so for squats/ front squats you'd do SLDL, for bench you do some rowing, etc.

Include plenty of grip work too, its fun and really fundamental to being STRONG in the truest sense of the word.

Hey ihawk, I totally agree with Tarw, as with my workouts I carry out the same 3-way split, but swapped about, Mon-Benchpress, Wed-Deadlifts and Fri-squats.
So with the routine suggested by Tarw, I am sure you will build your strength up.
