after a sickness

got sick over christmas break, lost about 10-15 pounds. just came off 5x5 12 week workout. lost all my weight gains when i was sick. but now im trying to cut down on my bf% since spring break is coming up. i switched to a 4 day routine with about 5 exercises each day, with 3 days cardio so i could get back into the routine of lifting after being sick. trying to get back to normal. so i was going to go back and do another 12 week program of 5x5 while im trying to lose the BF. is this a good idea to go with 5x5 since my gains won't be as great because of the diet im doing?

    Have you regained muscle lost from your sickness? if not then Id have a couple of weeks big eating before dieting.

    i have only regained half my strength that i lost, i have been eating enough to maintain my muscle. i will up intake of food for 3-4 weeks then start the cutting. thanks
