after cardio????

hello all ,
Ok this is rather an odd question but should i try and eat or drink anything after i have done my cardio like i do after i hit the weights ??? I always have a shake and a lucozade drink after weight training to help repair the refuel the muscles i just wondered if there was any benefit to doing the same after cardio ?? My main concern is fat loss so i will be exercising at around 50-60% of my MHR for about 1 hour .

u can also try some HIIT

yes u should replenish urself after cardio too

i use BIG LES tactics and perform my cardio so that it when i finish its time for a meal anyways (avoids all kinds of situations like this) so basically i have my small shake of whey in water beforehand if i just wake up, and then have breaky after cardio

Well said Y.I.B. Definitely need replenishment after cardio - whey with some form of carbs. You chose simple carbs as the source, but you could also do complex carbs as an alternative. The only difference with long-duration cardio and HIIT or weights is pre-workout IMO. Your body should be in a depleted state for long-duration cardio, as opposed to HIIT/Weights, where you need some carbs in you.

if i have to do it in the day i wouldnt have anything three hours prior the cardio, but have a shake right before so that i dont lose any muscle, but if i do HIIT i would have something to keep me alive during the workout so i would have to have some food about 20minutes before
