after effects of lumbar puncture

about 10 days ago i was rushed into hospital with suspected meningitis and as a result had a lumbar puncture (really not nice). the headaches have now worn off but my back still feels pretty bashed up, any ideas how long before my back feels right again (took 3 attempts for them to successfully do the LP which probably doesn't help)

No idea mate. However if you think something may not be right go back in and ask to get looked over.

Only ever seen a LP in the movies and it looks rough.

certainly wouldn't recommend an LP not only are they very uncomfortable and harsh side effects but damn scary having a needle inserted in your spine (probably not helped by the messed up state of my mind due to 3 days of fever around 40c).

don't think anything is seriously wrong just feels tight and aches (kind of like someones been sticking needles into muscle close to bone)

About 2 weeks till my sister started feeling better after hers. Good luck with your recovery mate.
