anyone know anything about isa's?

ok, so I gather you can save £3,000 a year tax free? is that true?

what is a decent intetres account for an isa?

how much would you have at the end of a year if you started off with £3,000 in a 5% interest isa?

thanks

Mini cash ISA limit is 3000.00 quid per tax year and think thats set til 2007. For best rates check out moneysupermarket.co.uk

On a decent rate mini cash ISA i recon you'd earn between 100-150 quid tax free interest per year.

Just remember tho say if you put 3k in now (so thats your limit til april) but 2 months down the line you fancy a holiday so take out a grand. you cant put that grand back in.

You can have a maxi ISA and a mini cash ISA in the same year but you cant use the cash element of the maxi at the same time as the mini
