anyone own or owend a 206 or work for puegoet or a mechanic

when i start the engine up on the dash i get the service mileage then i get something that looks like this OOO_ _ _ then a symbol next to its got a min on the left and a max on the righti cant see it in the handbook can someone tell me what it is and is it normal for it to come up

    I think that is the oil level in the engine.It should read ooooooo when the oil is full,check the oil level.

    my mate checked it for me its full plus only had the car a week from a main dealer and ive only done about 60 miles

    definatly oil level as said check level on the dip stick when cold, could possibly be the sensor that is faulty! but as long as it looks ok on the stick i wouldnt worry!
