anyone squat twice a week

I have started box squatting and i have to say i felt very strong doing them to a parallel box. no wraps just a belt. i also had no doms from them even though i went fairly heavy (not maxing as they are still new to me)

i have read the westside articles and many of his boys and girls box squat twice a week. do you find you recover ok from 2 sessions per week

yes until last month i used to squat twice a week, before that it was four times a week obviously you cant go mad every session and the more you emphasise the ecentric(negative) part of the lift the harder it will be to recover i found i didnt grow much (if at all) squating that way but it got my legs strong!! also i find if im sore from the previous session anouther load of squats help get flush the crap out them and get some blood and nutrients to the muscles (its similar to how massage works)-have fun

Hmm, i was toying with the idea of a dedicated overhesad squat session, maybe i could do back squat and overhead both in the same week...
