are the androgenic effects of AAS permanent?

increased growth of androgen-sensitive hair (pubic, beard, chest, and limb hair), increased vocal cord size, deepening the voice, increased libido, suppression of natural sex hormones, and impaired production of sperm.

some of these e.g. sperm production and libido are obviously temporary, but what about the hair and voice thing?  TBH I wouldn't mind having a deeper voice.  But excess body hair on a permanent basis is not an attractive prospect to me.

Also are tyhese effects common to all steroids?  The one's I've taken before are epistain.  Never taken injectables.

Bro, can you confirm something for me. You say you wouldn't mind a deeper voice....how old are you?

From my experience AAS hasn't deepened my voice. The increase in hair is generally one or two tiny normal hair's that spring up on your shoulders or back. The effects are generally not permanent. Even if you get Gyno, this will eventually disappear.

To be honest I think you should REALLY weigh up the options here and decide whether or not it's worth it. Rather than the odd hair, think about whether you can handle the increase in blood pressure. The shortness of breath. The fact that even tying your shoelaces, depending on the compound, can have you breaking out in the most unreal bout of sweating imaginable. The fact that if you want to fully utilise the benefits of the gear the fact that you pretty much have to kiss good bye to a normal social life. The fact that you'll be eating so much food you'll feel bloated all the time and in most cases, the simplest of things that wouldn’t annoy you before seem to grate your very core!

Jumping on the gear wagon is no light decision. It body altering stuff. Also I would class Epistane anywhere near really AAS.

I'm guessing here, but you sound young and very in-experienced. Read some cycle logs and search for things like "side effects" as well as "gains" and from this research, make an educated decision on the next steps.

I'm 27 and I never said I want to take it specifically for a deeper voice, I said I wasn't concerned about that particular side effect, it wouldn't bother me.
What I was concerned about was excess body hair.  None of the material I have read makes it clear whether this effect is permanent.

That doesn't mean I haven't checked on the other side effects.  It just means I don't have any questions about other side effects.

Typically, the most androgenic steroids will give most people varying degrees of androgenic effects. The most common strong androgens are test/tren/dbol. Androgenic effects might include oily skin, acne, increased bodyhair, increases in the rate of male pattern baldness in those prone to the condition. The hairgrowth/loss is pretty much permanant.

if you want to use AAS to gain quality muscle, size, strength and all the other things that go along with it im abit confused to why getting abit hairy would concern you?

Wax/shave/hair removal creams are easy to sort the problem out....however getting as big naturally without using any AAS is a much much harder slog.

it's all about weighing up the pros and cons isn't it.  Need all the info before I make decisions.
